Shockwave Therapy has been around for several years with various uses, but has become more widespread for musculoskeletal uses in the last 10-15 years. Some of you may have already had it done for various reasons, and we're excited to be able to offer this exciting technique now at Integrity. Shockwave is used for a number of conditions and symptoms and has been shown to be extremely effective in the literature and research at treating a number of issues.
These include:
Tendonitis/Tendinopathies
Plantar fasciitis/Heel Spurs
Myofascial Trigger Points
Bursitis
Frozen Shoulder
Scar Tissue
Rotator Cuff Calcifications and/or Tendonitis

Shockwave will be offered by me, Justin, as well as Breanna Cook (RMT) at our office interchangeably. It will be offered as a separately scheduled appointment apart from your normally scheduled Massage or Chiropractic treatment, or as an add-on to an existing appointment depending on what is needed.
Most Shockwave Therapy care plans involve 2-6 treatments in order to achieve full therapeutic benefit. Obviously, these plans are tailored to each person's unique situation.
